Sukha Texel & Meditation

Our lives do not consist of events, but of stories. Our mind is simply made to produce thoughts, but is often too enthusiastic about it. You probably know that voice in your head that jumps from one subject to the next. Often you no longer understand how you came to a certain thought.

With meditation you give your mind something to focus on, such as the breath, your body or your thoughts. Body and mind come to rest by gaining insight into your own patterns and habits without judgment and comment.


According to Ayurveda you can also adjust your meditation to your constitution. You then use the meditation that suits you best. You will learn more about this during the Ayurvedic Weekend Retreats. A weekend just unwinding with yoga and meditation, good Ayurvedic food and being outside in the beautiful nature of Texel.
